Accident in Kupwara, biker killed, girl injured | KNO

Kupwara, April 01 (KNO) : A bike-borne youth was killed while a girl sustained injuries on Monday in a road mod mishap in Buhiopora area of Kupwara district. Officials said that a biker identified as Namiz Ahmad Malik, son of Late Abdul Rashid Malik rammed over a girl pedestrian near Degree College Kupwara, resulting in biker’s on spot death and injuries to pedestrian. The injured girl was referred to Srinagar hospital for specialized treatment. Eye witnesses said that, from the spot of accident both were evacuated to sub district hospital for medical treatment where Nazim Malik was declared dead on his arrival, while as the injured girl was referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment. However, the identification of the girl wasn’t known immediately. Meanwhile, police has also reached on spot of the indecent and Hospital as well.(KNO)
